Introduction: Garden Cart
This Garden Cart turned out awesome and should last for years to come!
Step 1: Gather Supplies
I used several pieces of scrap wood for this project. 2x4's, old pallets, flooring samples, etc.
Step 2: Frame It Up
I started by simply framing (without nailing or screwing) just to see the layout of the project.
Step 3: Enlist Help
My 2 sons and his girlfriend are always looking to help out on my projects. Great learning opportunity! So...I put them to work.
Step 4: Basic Frame
Basic frame was built with 4 legs, and a frame around it to secure it so it wouldn't turn into a rhombus. Then, I added casters.
Step 5: More Supports
Add more supports and shelves.
Step 6: 110 Pound Test
Step 7: Showcase
Stain it, and throw into the back of the truck. Then add soil and plants. Stand back and admire. For the final task, a plastic liner was added to prevent wood rot. A drainage system was also incorporated in the middle using cheap gutter from Home Depot.
