This beautiful handmade Resign Design Lamp is the perfect accessory if you want your home to appear more festive - be it on festive occasions or in everyday life. At the table, in the hallway or in the bedroom: it can light up in the night and decorate your space during the day.

Supplies

  • 3x Battery coins, 1.5V
  • 1x Fairy lights (LED), battery-operated, silver-colored
  • 1x Silicon moulde, rectangular or square
  • 1x Epoxy resign with hardener
  • 2x Resign paint drips
  • 1x Measuring cups
  • 1x Wooden sticks

Step 1: Mix the Resin and Hardener

Mix the epoxy resin and hardener according to the instructions on the package. Stir the mixture thoroughly for at least five minutes to ensure it's well-blended.

Step 2: Add Light

Cautiously put the fairy LED lights into the silicone mould so that it covers 1/4 of the mould.

Step 3: Pour the Resin Into Your Mold

Pour the resin mixture into silicone mould. Fill it according to the depth of your lamp you want to have at the end.

Step 4: Add Paint

Gradually drip some color slowly into the silicone mold without mixing the two colors together.

Step 5: Let It Cure

Allow the resin to cure for at least 24 hours. Keep it in a warm, dry place and avoid touching or moving the mould during this time.

Step 6: Remove From Mold

Once the resin has cured, carefully remove the piece from the mould. Use sandpaper to smooth any rough edges.

Step 7: Saw the Stand

Then use two pieces of wood (any piece of wood should do the job) to saw a wooden stand. Each piece should have a size of approx. 2 cm's length to 3 cm's hight and a depth of 0,5 cm's. Don't forget to saw a cutout in the middle of each stand so that the resign piece fits into it.

Step 8: Setup

You are now finished with your first handmade Resign Design Lamp. Set it up somewhere you like and enjoy. You can turn on the lights to make the lamp even more glamorous!
