Introduction: Multi-angle Laser Cut Phone Stand
It's easy to make a cardboard phone stand, but mine wore down after a couple months, so I decided to laser-cut a new one out of barely sturdier material. While doing so, I decided to to make a couple angles available. I like to have my phone "standing" at a high angle when video-calling, and I like to have it "lying" at a low angle while watching media.
Step 1: Laser-cut and Glue
This instructable assumes you can operate a laser cutter. Just laser-cut the provided design, phone_stand.svg.
It's assuming 3mm thick material, if you change that, you'll need to change the sizes of the cross lap joints.
The design includes some surplus crosspieces. I used them along with an elastic band to help keep the pressure on during glue-up

This is the angle I use for video calls
Step 3: Reclining Angle
I like this angle for watching media
Step 4: Bonus Angle
Just for kicks. I don't know if I'll ever use this angle.
