Concrete & Casting Contest

Overview

Last year’s Concrete and Casting Contest went so well that we just had to hold another one. This year’s contest is brought to you again by the fantastic folks at CHENG Concrete.

Show us your best builds for a chance to win prizes from CHENG - we're looking for any project that uses concrete or casting in the build process.

Please be sure that your entry into the contest contains original photos and text. Entries without original photos and text will be denied.

Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to entries from US, Canada [excluding Quebec], UK, China, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia, Colombia, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, India, New Zealand, and Denmark. The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PT), June 9, 2014. Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PT, July 28, 2014.

The winner(s) will be solely responsible for complying with any and all applicable statutes, laws (including, without limitation, common law, if applicable), rules and regulations and for bearing any personal income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, customs duties, or other taxes, fees, insurance, surcharges or other costs relating to receiving, claiming or collecting any prize.

Grand Prize

Grand Prize (1)

One Grand Prize winner will receive:

an Alpha WDP-120 Wet / Dry Variable Speed Polisher
a set of CHENG 5" Wet Polishing Pads (50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 grit)

First Prize (3)

Three First Prize winners will receive:

a package of CHENG Countertop Pro-Formula Mix

a 50 lb bag of CHENG D-FRC Casting Blend

Second Prize (5)

Five Second Prize winners will receive:

a set of Alpha Diamond Hand Polishing Pads (60, 150, 300, 500 grit)
and an Instructables prize pack including a robot t-shirt.

Runner Up (9)

Nine Runner Up winners will receive an Instructables prize pack including a robot t-shirt.

Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.

Judging

A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
