Introduction: Icky, Sticky, Three Ingredient Flubber!

About: I like to rhyme all the time.

Have you watched the movie "Flubber"? Well, If you have, then may'be you've wished you could make some, just like Professor Brainard. In this Instructable, we will show you how you can also discover the secrets of this nontoxic, even safe - to - eat Flubber Rubber!

( Psst. Just don't miss your own wedding! )

Storage:

Store in a large airtight container. Play with it often - or its gonna grow mold, buddy.

If not stored properly, it may dry up and it will be mad at you.

Warning:

When I said, "nontoxic," I mean that it is safe if consumed once. If swallowed a second time, drink a gelatin solution (unflavored). If this is not available, DRINK LARGE AMOUNTS OF PURE, WATER OR JUICE. Note that this flubber contains borax, and "borax could reduce your fertility if consumed...," as one visitor brought to my attention.

Step 1: Things You Will Need to Gather

Ingredients:

1 bottle of school glue

2 cups of water

1 tablespoon of borax

Tools:

medium sized bowl

large steel mug (shown as 1 cup measure)

2 metal spoons (not shown)

OPTIONAL: one tablespoon of cornstarch

(if you decide to use cornstarch, mix it into the

glue BEFORE you mix the glue into the borax.)

Step 2: Bust the Borax!

Time to Bust The Borax!

Take one tablespoon of borax, maybe a little less, and spoon it into a mug. Now take the water and pour one cup into the same mug and stir it. Stir, stir, stir, stir.........

Step 3: Mix the Glue

Time to deal with the glue!

Dump the whole bottle of glue into the steel bowl and pour the rest of the water along with it.

After that, stir it again.

You are done!

Refer to the front page for details on storage.
