Multi-purpose Crosscut Sled from Scrap Wood!

I have some large commission pieces coming up, and I thought it would be a good time to get a smaller crosscut sled dedicated to my existing table saw put together. For this one I added a miter cutting feature to the crosscut sled. Its super simple and easy, I legit got it done in 20 minutes! Because this build was so simple, i have included a FREE plan to download and tackle this one yourself!

You can basically build this sled with a handful of screws and some scraps. I used MDF because it is what i had on hand, and for the rails I used some scrap white oak. The rail is purpleheart, which was a scrap i had in the bin. I chose purple heart for its density, you can pick your own rail but i do recommend a dense hard wood.
