Introduction: Bowling Lane

About: I enjoy. radio restoration and collecting and woodworking.I repair ride ons

Found some “wood” flooring out at the curb and I had fence boards from the last hurricane.

Step 1: Trash to Treasure

After finding flooring on the curb and using old fence boards I laid out some 2 x 2 and attached the fence boards to it. I decided on the length by the amount of flooring I had. Being able to see the grandkids in a few more weeks, we all have had our COVID shots. I built and airplane swing so I decided to build a bowling lane. If it keeps them off of the electronic games for an hour. I will be happy and hopefully they will have a good childhood memory.

Step 2: Laying Out the Flooring

once I had the fence boards laid out and screwed down I glued and stapled the floor pieces.

Step 3: Adding Gutter Rails

I rip a couple of fence boards to about two inches and placed on the sides

Step 4: Building a Catch All Box

Since grandpa will have to reset the pins and ball return used scrap plywood to make a box to trap some of the pins.

Step 5: Adding Paint and Original Artwork

Had some leftover paint happened to be white and added some stick figure art
