Introduction: Clarinet Fingering Chart Sticky Note

I am a clarinetist studying music in college and I had this wonderful idea for a sticky note with a blank fingering chart on it so I could easily remember alternate fingerings when practicing. I am a fan of sticky notes in general and I just thought this was perfect! Here's how I did it.

Step 1: Find a Customizable Sticky Note

First, I had to find a good source for customizable stationery products. A lot required minimum orders of 500 or more and I definitely did not want that many sticky pads! Zazzle ended up being the perfect source for me! You must also choose your preferred size. I would want something a little skinnier to fit in the margins of my music better, but 3x3 was the smallest option I could find.

Step 2: Find a Blank Fingering Chart

Next, I found a blank fingering chart with a simple google search. You can select any one that you prefer, the circled one was just my favorite. Then, just copy and paste into the customizer on Zazzle.

Step 3: Place Your Order!

Finally, just place your order! I was so excited to receive these and they came in very quickly! I think they are very useful for clarinet students and teachers and I can't wait to share them with my colleagues! I am currently working on some improvements to the sticky note and I'll be sure to post when they're done.
