I have a special place in my heart for cloths pins :)
So when the problem of our ball caps arose... my first thought was, how can I do this with cloths pins?
(Sorry for the poor photo)

This took no time at all.
I was able to compleat this in one evening.

Step 1: Materials

- Hemp, Twine or cloths line
- Mod Podge
- Cloths Pins
- Decretive paper
- Paint
- Paint Brush
- Command hooks or small finishing nails

Step 2: Disasemble Pins

First you will need to take apart the cloths pins.
Be careful not to over stretch the spring.

Step 3: Paint

Next, paint the pins the color you choose.
I used Yellow.... so it's a little hade to see.
It is important the the paint compleatly dries before you moove on.
*It helps to thinly layer the paint.

Once the paint dries, put them back togather.
It's a little tricky, but you get the hang of it.

Step 4: Cut and Mod Podge

Next, Cut slivers of the decritive paper.
They should be slightly smaller that the actual pin.
I like to see the paint behind the paper.

Then, Mod Podge the paper to the pins.
Again you will need to allow them to dry compleatly.

Step 5: Finishing Up

The last thing is to tie knots in the hemp/twine.
A small loop at the top for hanging, then slip on the pins and put knots where you would like them to stop.

Hang on the comand hooks or the finishing nalis.
Then hang the sstrand.
Then done!
