DIY Tutorial - Cute Robots Made by Soft Clay!

Tools and Materials:

Step 1: Cut

Pick certain amount of red, light green and dark green soft clay and rub them to be soft.

Step 2: Change the Shape & Mix Up

After the red clay is softened, make it into several pieces of cube shape. Mix up the clay of light green and dark green completely and do it just like the red clay, to make cubes.

Step 3: Choose

Choose the proper hardware parts for back up.

Step 4: Combination

Assemble the hardware parts and the soft clay. The clay will be made into little robots and we will install the facial features and limbs onto the robots.

Step 5: Combination

Step 6: Baking

Baking, the assembled robots will be put into the oven and be baked. The temperature is 120 ℃ and the time is 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 7: With Necklace

After the baked soft clay is cooled off, we will match up the robots with the necklaces, ear hooks and ear wires that we like, so as to make out the jewelry we want.

Step 8: Complete!!

Soft clay combined with hardware parts will achieve the effect of lovely robots. The needed materials are common stuffs which are easy to prepare and the crafting is easy and fun. Hope you like it!
