Doily Wedding Dress Bridal Shower Invitation

I wanted to make simple elegant bridal shower invitations for my best friends shower. Something that was not too complicated yet still original.These are super easy and fun to make.

Step 1: Folding Doily to Create Dress Bottom

Take a 6 inch doily and fold it over not quite in half. Fold the two sides inward towards eachother leaving about a 1/2 inch space between the two sides at the top. This will be the bottom of the dress.

Step 2: Glue Dress Bottom Onto Outside of Card

Hot glue bottom of dress to a 5in x 6.5in folding card.

Step 3: Dress Top

Glue another doily to a white piece of paper using a glue stick. Wait till dry. Then cut paper and doily in half. Then cut out bottom of doily. Proceed to cut doily into smaller 1in pieces. This will be the top to our dress. Hot glue onto card and add bow of your choice.

Step 4: Inside of Card

Print out wording onto cardstock paper then proceed to cut edges with your choice of scrapbook edging scissors. Hot glue onto inside of card.

6in Doily
5x 6.5in folding cards
5x7 cardstock
small bows
scrapbook edging scissors
hot glue gun
glue stick

Step 6:
