Kids are really fond of toys and we often land up buying expensive stuffs for them. Guitars are one of the favorite toys for kids and here we are going to make a very beautiful handmade guitar toy. This toy looks both realistic and decorative as well. Moreover, this toy guitar is made from cardboard and is our best out of waste craft.

Step 1: Things Needed

Cardboard Boxes
Cardboard
Marker
Cutter
Printed Paper
Adhesive
Scissors
Pencil
Board Pins
Rubber Bands
Satin Ribbon

Step 2: Let's Cut the Cardboard Box!

Let’s take some used cardboard boxes of different sizes. Now draw a circle on one of the boxes and cut it.

Step 3: Let's Cover the Boxes With Printed Paper!

Take the other long cardboard box and draw some markings on it. Cut it accordingly. Now let’s cover all these boxes using printed paper.

Step 4: Let's Cut Small Pieces of Cardboard & Stick It!

Let’s take a cardboard and cut out small pieces from it. Apply glue and stick all the pieces together to form a stack. We need two such arrangement.

Step 5: Let's Cover Cardboard Pieces With Color Paper!

Now let’s take a color paper and stick on these cardboard pieces. Stick these colored cardboard pieces on the base guitar piece.

Step 6: Let's Form a Guitar Design!

Paste the long cardboard piece to the base piece to form guitar design. Take glitter paper and cut out different strips from it.

Step 7: Let's Stick the Glitter Paper Pieces!

Stick the circle glitter piece around the cut out portion on the base piece and paste the strips on the long portion of the guitar.

Step 8: Let's Make Handle of the Guitar!

Now let’s take board pins and rubber bands. Insert the board pins on the cardboard pieces. Take a satin ribbon to make the handle for the guitar.

Step 9: Let's Fix the Board Pins & Rubber Band!

Fix the rubber band on the board pins from one end to another to form the string and this completes the look of the guitar.
