Introduction: How to Share a "Minizine" With Friends

About: Grandma Van uses the Instructables website to share little print-and-mail books. Once in a while, she has other fun things to share.

I have a lot of friends who make Artist Trading Cards. Sometimes, trading can be difficult. I wrote this little booklet on one of those days when I was feeling down. I have found that Instructables is the PERFECT site for sharing this kind of thing!

Supplies

Printer. Paper. Scissors. The PDF found in step one.

Step 1: Download and Print the PDF

The image above shows what is on the PDF. Print it!

Step 2: Cut Along the Outer Lines

Because printers sometimes "scoot" the image a bit one way or another, it's best to just add some cutting lines so all the text lines up just right. There are FOUR lines to cut. Imagine that I copied and pasted the word "CUT" two more times....

Step 3: Follow the Standard "Mini-zine" Instructions for Folding

I've made a LOT of these little one-page fold-and-cut booklets.

I used to take new photos each time I published one of those booklets.

But I'm too lazy to take all those pictures again....

There are a LOT of good instructions for folding and cutting these booklets.

Here is one of my older booklets, complete with instructions. The first time, it is a little tricky. When you've made a hundred or so, it gets easier!

Step 4: Share With a Friend

And tell that friend about "Instructables." It's a seriously awesome site for sharing all kinds of things-that-can-be-created.
