Introduction: Peanut Butter Bacon Cookies

A Bacon-y surprise in my All Time Favorite Peanut Butter Cookie!!!

The Recipe:

1 cup of Peanut Butter
1 cup of Cooked Bacon Chopped
1 cup of Butter
1 Cup of Sugar
1 cup of Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 1/2 cups of Flour
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon of Salt

(bake at 375 for about 10-15 minutes)

Step 1: Make the Dough

Cream the Sugars and Butter together
 - to do this, simply beat the heck out of them with a rubber spatula until they are smooth.

Sift together the dry ingredients and then mix in to the creaminess along with the eggs.

You will now have a happy peanut buttery doughball. Stick that bad boy in the fridge for a bit, like maybe half an hour or so.

*Don't add the bacon yet! Well I guess you can, but I didn't.  I saved the best part for last.... and snacked on the bacon in the meantime :)

Step 2: Get Ready to Bake

Grease a baking sheet with some yummy salty bacon grease. Oh yeah!

Then take a small handful of cookie dough and flatten it a bit onto your baking sheet.
 *important safety tip: as much as you are dying to eat that dough, don't do it! there's raw eggs in there man!

Now top those little guys with lots on bacon-y goodness!!!!

Step 3: Nom Time!

Bake 'em for about 10-15 minutes at 375 degrees.

Let them cool for a minute before Devouring them in a whirlwind of happiness!!!!
