Overview
There are many people, most of us know a few, who face challenges ranging from arthritis to MS or simply being a toddler in a world built for adults. This contest is all about hacking things to help those people get through their day!
For this speed contest, simply hack anything to make it easier for someone to use and document it with a new Instructable. The hacked item can be kitchen gear, computers, clothing, or anything else. Document your hack with clear photos and great text in a new Instructable to win a Leatherman and Sugru, a new product that lets you hack almost anything!
Sugru Choice Prize (1 winner) Best life hack involving Sugru will win a Leatherman Style CS, a pack of Sugru to keep you going, and an Instructables prize pack! (note: this is the only prize that requires Sugru in the Instructable)
First Prize (3 winners) A pack of Sugru and an Instructables prize pack.
Random Prize (1 winner) One entry selected at random will win a Leatherman Style CS, a pack of Sugru, and an Instructables prize pack. Everyone who enters will have a chance of winning.
We're serious about the "speed" in the speed contest. This contest closes on December 12, so get going!
Multiple entries are permitted but only one prize will be awarded per contestant. This contest is open to international entries!
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Nov 29, 2010 and Dec 12, 2010 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Sugru Life Hacks Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
