Introduction: Denim Microwave Potato Bag.

About: curious french guy.....

hi there!
the other day, I found this interresting instructable:

https://www.instructables.com/id/Amazing-Microwave-Potato-Bag/

You can find some over the internet for a few bucks, but some are really pricey...

I like those little project that are fun to show and helpful in daily life, so I started searching for a piece of clothe that would do the job....
I had an old pair of jeans that already gave their organs to another instructables, so I decided it was sewing day!

PEOPLE, I DON'T KNOW HOW BLUE JEANS AND POTATOES BEHAVE WHEN MIXED IN A MICROWAVE, SO I DECLINE ALL RESPONSIBILITY ABOUT USING THIS KIND OF "COOKWARE".

mine just works perfectly, and I am very happy with it.....

Step 1: Get the Damn Jeans

I kept the rear clothing pocket in order to add an inside a jacket I like.

the end part of a sleeve does it perfectly, as you will just have to sew the bottom.
20 to 30 cm are enough....

Step 2: Shape It and Sart the Needle Job....

the envelope shape makes it easy to fold and close with a button.

IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO MICROWAVE THE BUTTON FIRST

(to check it doesn't melt or contains any metal that would damage your microwave)

Step 3: Sew!

I sewed the edges to prevent them from tearing.

you really don't need to be good at sewing for such a simple project...

Step 4: Easy , Huh?

tadaaaa!

this bag holds up to 5 potatoes and it takes less than 10 minutes on full power to bake them....

add a spoon of cream, or butter, olive oils, a few garlic salt, pepper and salt, here's a quick and healthy meal for everybody.

enjoy your baked potatoes.

this bag containing hot potatoes is also very convenient to warm up children beds in winter....trust me!!!
