Introduction: 3D Printed Iron Man Movable Helmet (Level - Easy) Vote!^^
*Note* I do not own a 3D Printer... Yet.^^
I'd love to be able to make more instructions like this, you can help me by voting!
Step 1: Model
Firstly, you will want to model your Iron Man helmet.
In this step you can also add any customized details and/or marks.
I made my own model, but you can download a slightly different (but still great) model for free at:
http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/iron-man-helmet-66193.ht...
*If you would like to design your own, feel free!*
Once done, move on to step 2.
Step 2: Print!
Probably the easiest of steps (but most nerve wrecking!) is to set your 3D printer and, well, print!
In the hours this prints, you can use the time to go on Netflix, play some videogames... Just keep yourself busy!
Step 3: Put It All Together!
Depending on the design of the helmet, you might be able to skip this step.
In my case, I have printed a bunch of small bits and pieces, ready to be glued together!
Tip: If you have a lot of pieces, it helps to mark them for easier put-together. (The marks you
might make will be covered in the next step)
Step 4: Paint Your Heart Out!
Grab some spray paint and paint your helmet any color you want!
Although most popular colors are red and gold, make it black or pink if you want! (Why not)
No-one has ever judged a rainbow iron man!
Let your creativity flow, as you finish your helmet and let it dry!
Step 5: Wear and Share!
Good job!
You have made your first Iron Man helmet!
Now wear that baby out to every Halloween party you know of!
In fact, why wait till Halloween?
Wear it out now and live your life!
*Optional* You can place LED's into the eyes of the mask for an even better effect!
