Introduction: 6 Person Ping Pong Table

Gather up all your friends so you can have a good game of Ping Pong. If you can have 2,4, or even 6 people play. Instead of waiting for a long time and being bored watching two people play, you can join the fun with all of your friends.

Step 1: Materials

  • 2 pieces of 3/4"x4'x8' Particle Board- Lowes
  • 2 pieces of 2"x4"x8' pressure treated wood- Lowes
  • 1 quart of Blue paint- Lowes
  • 1 sample pint of white paint- Lowes
  • 2 Rolls of 1" painters tape- Lowes
  • 4" paint roller- Lowes
  • 1" paintbrush- Lowes
  • 1 Paint tray- Lowes
  • 72" net- Amazon
  • 6 paddles and 3 ping pong balls- Amazon
  • 1 circular saw
  • 2 saw horses
  • 1 T-square
  • 2 clamps
  • 1 Tape measure

Step 2: Cutting

The size of the Particle Boards is still 4'x8' so they will have to be cut down to 4'x6'. After you will need to cut the Particle Board into half an octagonal shape.

Step 3: Painting

You need to use the 1 quart of blue paint with your paint tray and roller to apply the paint across the two pieces.

Step 4: Masking the Lines

After the blue paint dries, you will use the 1" tape to mask the outline for the 1/2" lines that will divide the playing field.

Step 5: White Lines

Paint the white lines in the parameter of the tape. Make sure that you only brush one way so you don't leave streaks.

Step 6: Remove Tape

After 1 hour you can remove the tape around the white lines that divide the playing area.

Step 7: TIGA Net

Last you need to install the uprights to the table and slide the net over the uprights. Make sure the net is centered between the edges of the table.

Step 8: Playball

Have fun with all your friends playing ping pong.
