Step 2: Hard Boiling the Eggs
To hard boil the eggs, put your eggs in the pot and fill the pot up with water so the water covers the eggs completely.
Turn the heat on high and wait for it to boil. Once it is boiling, turn the heat off and let eggs sit in the hot water for about 10 minutes. When the 10 minutes is up, empty out the hot water. Then put the eggs in the food container and add the ice and put in fridge for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3: Painting the Eggs
When the eggs are nice and cooled off from being in the fridge, it's time to paint the whole egg.
I am painting three eggs. A red one, a yellow one and a green one. I'm going to paint the red one first, so paint the whole egg red. Then paint the whole egg yellow, and lastly green. I mixed green and white for a lighter green to paint my green egg.
Also, I used my palette as a temporary egg stand to hold my eggs while they dry. Paint about 2-3 coats of paint on each egg and let dry completely between each coat.

Step 4: Painting the Red Angry Bird
Time to paint the birds faces!
You have to be careful for this part, because you don't want to mess up!!
I recommend to look at a picture of each angry bird your going to paint. I used Google Images to look at the angry birds faces.
I am going to start with the red bird. I started with the eyebrows. I painted on a wide "V" shape very carefully to make the eyebrows. If it's not perfect, don't worry. We will do the touch-ups later. Then paint on white circle shapes for the eyes. Paint a small thin black line between the eyes. Make sure your hand is still while you are painting so you have neat lines. Now outline the white eyeballs with black. Make sure its a thin line. Now, we can paint the beak. Using a light orange paint, go right under the thin black line we just painted and create a triangle shape, but make the bottom right of the triangle go out a little more than the other side. Still using the orange paint, paint on another triangle, an upside down triangle. Outline the beak, then make a line right through the middle of the beak. It should look like the top beak is overlapping the bottom beak. Also, make a small black circle inside the white for the birds pupil.
Now it's time for the white belly! Near the bottom of the beak, make a white curved line, going down. Repeat on other side and fill in. Let dry.

Step 5: Painting the Yellow Bird
To start painting the yellow bird, make sure its completely dry.
I'm going to start with it's eyebrows. Use red for the eyebrows. Make the eyebrows slightly tilted down so the bird looks angry.
Use white to paint the eyes directly below the eyebrows. Outline the white eyes with black. Also make black dots in the center of the white for its pupils. For it's beak, paint an orange diamond shape and outline it with black. Then make a zig-zag line in the middle of the beak. Also, make a white belly like you did on the red bird. Also, use black to make the feathers on the top of the egg.

Step 6: Painting the Green Pig
Time to paint the last egg! Use white paint to make two white circles, for the eyes, and make sure they are far away, at least not close to each other like the last eggs. Use dark green to make two small eyebrows above the white eyes. Use a lighter green to make a triangle-ish oval-ish shape. Outline the white with black and make small circles inside the white with black.
Go back with the dark green and make two oval shapes inside the light green oval. Also outline the big oval shape with the dark green. Below the outline you just made, create half a circle. Let dry and your done!

Step 7: Cleaning Up and Finishing!
After you've painted each egg, its time to clean up and finish!
Clean up your paintbrushes, paint palette and your work surface.
Optional: Get a paper towel roll tube, and cut it in small pieces and put the eggs on it and you have your own egg stand!
Have fun!
