Introduction: Angry Birds Piggy Bank

About: Computer nerd during the day.
We used the pig pattern from our Life Sized Angry Birds game (https://www.instructables.com/id/Life-Sized-Angry-Birds-Game/ ) to make an easy and inexpensive Angry Birds Piggy Bank.

Materials
1 foot of 1 x 6 pine
small empty plastic peanut butter jar (use other jars if it looks good)
small wood screws
glue
pipe cleaner (for the tail)

Tools
Dremel Tool
Screwdriver
Drill
Scroll Saw

Step 1: Cut Out Piggy Head and Rear

Trace the pig head and rear onto a 1 x 6 piece of pine. Use a scroll saw to cut the head and rear out of the pine. Sand the edges.

Step 2: Paint

Paint the pig head and rear. Paint the peanut butter jar lid green.

Step 3: Assemble Bank

Use two small screws to attach the peanut butter jar lid to the angry pig head. Drill a small hole in the angry pig rear and attach a small piece of pipe cleaner that has been twirled to look like a pig tail. Glue and insert the tail into the hole in the rear of the pig. Glue the bottom of the peanut butter jar to the rear of the pig.

Step 4: Cut Out Coin Hole and Insert Coins

Use a dremel tool with a cut-off attachment to cut a coin slot in the middle top of the peanut butter jar. Sit down on your sofa, root around for coins, and deposit them into the hungry piggy.
