Introduction: Arduino Creative Project - Smart Curtain
This project shows how to use the two-stage transmission of the gear to drive the large gear through the small gear, so as to drive the curtain to move up and down.
Materials:
Crowtail- Motor Base Shield 2.0 x 1
Crowtail- Bluetooth Low Energy Module x 1
Stepper Motor x 1
USB cable x 1
Next, start making smart curtains!
Step 1: Gear Design
It is known that the higher the speed of the motor (gear), the smaller the torque.
According to this theory, we designed three gears of different sizes, which meshed with each other.
Step 2: Motor Fixed Platform Design
We also need to design a platform to fix the motor and three gears so that they can cooperate normally.

Step 3: Install Gear
Install the stepper motor and three gears on both sides of the motor fixing platform, as shown in the figure.
Step 4: Programming
After finishing the hardware part, let's start the software part!+
Open the arduino IDE, and design the program!
After writing the program, run the program to make sure the program is correct!
Step 5: Fixed on the Wall
Place the whole intelligent curtain driving device on the wall and screw it on.
Step 6: Software Download
Download a Bluetooth serial port assistant on the mobile phone, and simply set the function keys.
Step 7: Scene Debugging
After confirming that everything is ready, you can use your mobile phone for functional debugging!
Obviously, it works just fine!
