Introduction: Bacon Toasties
These wonderful little treats are easy and delicious. Plus, they freeze well, so you can make a large amount ahead of time and pop them in the oven when it's party time. Your guests will love them, and they'll think you worked extra-hard to put them out.
Step 1: Preperation
You will need:
12 pieces of bacon, crumbled
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1/2 mayonnaise
1 tbls Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp ea: garlic powder + black pepper
2 cups shard cheddar, grated
one loaf of bread, crusts removed and cut into squares
sliced cherry tomatoes (optional)

2 cups shard cheddar, grated

Step 2: Cooking
To start, cook the bacon. About halfway through, add the chopped onion. When the bacon is crisp, drain and allow to cool.
Mix the bacon + onions, almonds, mayo, Worchestershire, spices, and cheese. Spread the mixture onto the bread, placing them on a cookie sheet or other flat tray as you work.
When done, place in the freezer overnight. Afterwards, place in a freezer friendly container and store for up to 2 months.

Step 4: Conclusion
Want some variety for your toasties, just mix up the bread or cheese you use, or even use different types of bacon.
You can also add some bite by using some cayenne pepper, either by adding it to the mix or sprinkling on the top.
