I am happy to report that our LEGO community has grown considerably over the year and we now have a very comprehensive tutorial database to make everything from LEGO travel chess sets to LEGO Portal characters. Not to be outdone, K'NEX has answered with some truly amazing full scale entries, such as the K'NEX Skee Ball machine, pull-arm amusement machine, and chopsaw...all of which are functional!
We had our greatest year ever for Halloween costumes, both for makers on a budget and for those who are looking for movie-quality authenticity. I am constantly blown away by the passion and dedication people put into their costume creations and can't wait for our annual costume contest to run again this October.
I'm always amazed and inspired by the creations I see in Play and am looking forward to what 2013 has to offer. The more weird, whimsical, and fun the better!
