Introduction: Bluetooth Speaker Boombox
Hey friends,
In this instructable, I will clearly explain to you how to create a multimedia Bluetooth boombox speaker at home.
This boombox is created using PVC pipe and parts basically. All other electronic parts are mostly salvaged from my electronic junk collection.
Let's have fun with this amazing project!
Supplies
You will need..
01- PVC Pipe 4"x4'
02- Two end caps 4"
03- Two 3" or 4" Speaker drivers
04- Amplifier circuit
05- MP3 Bluetooth module
06- Salvaged battery pack from old laptop
07- BMS 3S 10A module
08- Switching mode power supply (SMPS)
09- Two volume controls
10- Black Rexine
11- Glue
12-Power switch
13- Audio input base
14- 2pin AC power socket
15- 2pin AC cable
16- Belt salvaged from traveling bag
17- Some salvaged plastic plates
18- Nuts and bolts
Tools & Equipments
01-Cutter
02-Soldering iron
03- Screwdrivers
04- CNC router (optional)
05- Hacksaw
06- Sandpapers
07- Heat gun or gas stove
08- Two unused tiles
Step 1: Prepare PVC Pipe
Cut the 4" PVC pipe at 4 feets
Cut middle control panel at 4" from each side.

Step 2: Preparing PVC Plates
- Heat PVC parts using a heat gun or gas stove
- Flatten them by applying pressure between two tiles
- Mark control panel parts and cut
Step 3: Glue Front Panel
- Glue front panel plates
- Mark cutting points for controls

Step 4: Cut Two End Caps
- Mark end caps line and cut off the excess parts
Step 5: Cut Air Holes of Speaker Mounts
- Use a CNC router or a manual method to cut two end caps design
- Cut passive radiator diaphragm
Step 6: Mount Speakers
- Solder speaker wires, and mount speaker on speaker brackets prepared
- Apply covering brackets
Step 7: Prepare Electronics
- Prepare amplifier circuit
- Disassemble salvaged battery pack
- Connect batteries to BMS module
- Solder volume controls
Step 8: Cover the PVC Casing
- Cover the PVC casing using the black rexine.
- Use glue and a heat gun to get the shape
Step 9: Preparing the Passive Radiator
- Cut off the magnet of the old speaker
- Cut the diaphragm
- Glue diaphragm to speaker
Step 10: Prepare the Front Control Panel
- Use CAD software and CNC to design the front panel and cut. You can also manually cut the panel.
- Attach the Bluetooth USB module to the front panel
Step 11: Mount Belt and End Caps
- Cut belt mounts using CNC, and mount the belt.
- Mount all parts inside, and close with speaker end caps

Step 12: Done!
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone
- Connect to the device
- Play & Enjoy!
