Introduction: Box Hockey Game

This is a fun and easy project to do. It only takes a couple of hours, and it's very cheap. I actually didn't have to buy anything because I already had all the materials. Hope this is easy to follow.

Step 1: Materials

1. About 4 2x6's that are at least 8 ft long
2. 1 4x8 sheet of plywood
3. A circular saw (jigsaw would be easier for some cuts but either would work)
4. A drill
5. 2 hockey sticks
6. 1 hockey puck

Step 2: Building the Frame

The frame is 6 foot by 3 foot and it's just a rectangle. But on the 2 ends you need to cut a goal on each. The goals are 4 inches long and 2 inches high. You need to cut it right in the middle. It's a little hard to explain without actually showing you so if you don't understand look at the pictures.

Step 3: Building the Inside

The in side is made of 3, 3 foot long 2x6's. Again you need to cut "goals" in these as well. But instead of one in the middle you need 2 evenly spaced apart in two of the boards. And 1 goal in the middle of one of the boards. Again, it's hard to explain without showing you so look at the pictures

Step 4: The Bottom

To make the bottom you need to trace the frame that you already built onto a sheet of plywood and cut it out and screw it to the bottom of the frame.

Step 5: How to Play

This is a 2 person game, I guess it could be more if you made it bigger. One person stands on each side of the frame. To play, drop the puck in the middle and first person to score on the end wins. You can not step inside when your playing.
