Introduction: Bus Track and Call
Do you want to call a bus to you and know how far way it is? Then follow the steps to make an app that can track a bus and call it. Internet is required to use the app. The picture is the finished app.
Supplies
Phone, MIT App Inventor, computer, and USB cord.
Step 1: Getting Supplies
You will need the following supplies above to make the app and see if you have them.
Depending on the type of computer, you might need a phone and a USB cable.
Step 2: Using MIT App Inventor
In order to get the bus track and call to work you will have to use MIT App Inventor and Fire Base Data base which is included in MIT App Inventor.

Note: If you the code to show up on your phone and run it off of your phone, download the app inventor on google play store. You will also need Download the emulator package with the AI installer on your laptop.
Step 3: Making the Code
After, we added our own twists to make the app the best it could be. Using MIT app inventor to code the app may be difficult at first but, here is the code required to make the GPS tracking and location to work!
When you are finished, publish your app! To get our app to work, we specifically partnered up with Dial-A-Lift.
