Introduction: Butterfinger Cookies
Two of my favorite things, combined into one chewy goodness: Butterfingers and cookies.
The end result is very chewy, slightly flat cookies: the best type.
Step 1: Ingredients+Tools
Ingredients:
- Butterfingers - 24 oz
- Flour - 3 cups
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Brown sugar - 1 cup
- Butter, melted - 2 sticks
- Eggs - 2
- Salt - pinch
- Baking soda - 2 pinches
- Vanilla extract - however much your heart desires. I used about 2 tbs
Tools:
- Mixer
- Measuring cup
- Oven (preheated to 350°F)
- Cookie sheet/sheet baking pan
- Parchment paper
Step 2: Smash.
Go nuts. Use a rolling pin, meat mallet, hammer, up to you. Just make sure to put it in a strong bag, first, or risk chunks flying everywhere.
Step 3: Combine.
You know the drill. Get out your favorite mixer or do it by hand.
Step 4: Bake.
Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper, then bake at 350°F for 12-16 minutes.
If your cookies stuck together, separate or cut immediately after removing from oven.
Let cool, then consume!
