Introduction: Cadbury Egg Creme Filled Chocolate Frogs

About: I like to do arts and crafts, spend a lot of time reading and just general playing around...! :P
This is not a very complicated instructable.  This is more about the possibilities of fillings for chocolate frogs. Cayenne pepper flavored creme comes to mind...
So what you do is, follow Schoochmaroo's wonderful instructions for making Cadbury egg creme, instructions here-https://www.instructables.com/id/Homemade-Cadbury-Creme-Eggs/  I only made a half a batch, because I didn't think I needed a whole lot for the frogs.  I still had some left over when I was done, probably enough to do a second tray.  Fill your chocolate frog molds with your chocolate, swirl the chocolate around to make a chocolate shell, and fill with your faux Cadbury creme.  The fun part is, you can flavor this creme any way you want, although then of course it won't taste the same as the originals.  Depending on your mold, you also may want to give your frogs different eyes to help distinguish fillings.  I used sprinkles and small pieces of  dehydrated strawberries, but I have also used red hots. Pour a "Lid" on it, and you are done!  (Well, ok, after you wait and let them cool, pop them out of the molds, trim them, and package them.  :)  )
I look forward to other people's input, and will try and list the possibilties here if anyone wants to have fun coming up with their own fillings or filling flavors.  :)
Here is what I have come up with so far.
You could flavor this creme with different flavors, such as:
Mint (Peppermint patti-ish)
Dehydrated fruit, such as strawberry. (Could add flavoring as well.)  I was thinking a little dried rasberry brain would be nice.  ;D
Cayenne pepper. (Hot and sweet) Flavor to taste.  I would say approximately 2 Tablespoons filling to 1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne. (Or less)  :)
You could use crushed starburst mint pieces in the creme, or any hard candy really.  Sour apple Jolly Ranchers might be good.  I think the candy would probably dissolve at least a little in the creme after a while.

You could make a rasberry jam type filling, and fill them with that.  It would ooze nicely.  Or mint.

For Halloween you could do something red, perhaps cherry pie filling for a bloody kind of look.
As for the gummy worms, I think you could do them. Use a x-acto knife and splice them to size. You could also create flies this way for the inside.
OH! It could be fun to put a plastic fly in one frog. Whoever gets that frog would win some sort of door prize (thinking back to a Halloween or Harry Potter party type thing)
I like the idea of the mint, or even a red cream could be nice for the center.
I have no clue if you can do jell-o inside a frog, but that could be interesting.
Humm yogart?
Oh wait! (duh) Take two packages of cream cheese and a pack of double stuffed oreos blend until together completely. Put that in the center. I make candies like that at Christmas, but roll them into balls and dip them in chocolate, so that could be pretty cool...they are rich but oh so good.
You could do cream cheese and peanut butter for a peanut butter cup kind of chocolate frog.
Carmel maybe?

I keep on wanting to put gummy worms in these, but they are really too big.  Maybe a small gummy spider, or fly, if you could find them.
You could chop up the worms...

I have used rice krispies in solid chocolate frogs, it works great.  I have also made white chocolate frogs with crushed peppermint candies in them.(Of course!)  You could use pecans or other nuts in solid chocolate frogs with no problem, I think.

I took a little bit of the unadorned filling and put little candy flowers all over it for pretend caviar, since I didn't have any round nonpareils around.

The pecans that I used will probably go soggy pretty fast. They just made such nice brains... (ZOMBIE FROGS!)
oberpriller says: To keep the pecan brain from going soggy in the cream center, dip it in chocolate first.

Chocolate truffle filling would also be good.  There are some good recipes on this site.

I used mostly dehydrated strawberries this time because that is what I had, "But the possibilities are endless"... :D
