Introduction: Cell Phone/ Tablet Holder
I made a cell phone holder because I needed somting to put my cell phnone on when it is charging or when I don't youse him. I camed up whit this idea so i can put it easy in my backpack.
Step 1: Things You Need for This Project
- plywood 18 cm X 8.5 cm
- plexiglas 8.5 cm X 10 cm
- 3 LED's
- 1 switch
- electric wire
- 3V battery holder
- figure saw
- sandpaper
- hot glue gun
You don't need to use plexiglas or wood you can use a matirial that you like.
Step 2: Making the Slots and Drilling Holes
The two pieces link together with a couple of slots. The slots measures 1,5 cm of the bottom, cutting halfway across the width. I just made a few passes with the saw to make the slots. The slot of the plywood is wider becaus I'm going to slide a LED in it. I drilled 2 holes in the plexyglas so that there fit a LED in it.
Step 3: Making the Circuit and Glue It
Solder the LED's in parallel such as in the schema. Don't cut the wire long because otherwise you will see the wire too much. Glue 2 of the LED's in the 2 holes and glue the other LEDin the slot, glue the switch and the batery holder at the underside of the plexiglas.
Step 4: Cuting the Logo
this step is not necessary but it looks better. find a picture that you want to use and sign it over on th wood. Than you can cut it out with a figure saw. After you cut it out you can sand it so it will look better.
