Step 1: Lighting Up the Charcoal/ Briquettes

Place the Charcoal/ Briquettes inside the Chimney Starter( if you fill more comfortable without them for now is ok too) Go ahead and fill the starter 3/4 of the way or enough to fill only half of the grill.Lets take the Newspaper/Paper Towel and wrinkle it a little bit , and pour about 1 to 2 tablespoon of cooking oil ( any kind) on the Newspaper/Paper Towel. Now Lets place the paper under the Chimney Starter and Light it up with Lighter. If you have not put the charcoal/briquettes on the starter now you can, If you have already lets go ahead and let it sit until the charcoal/briquettes are red(on) remember to fill the starter 3/4 of the way or enough to fill only half of the grill carefully dump the charcoal/briquettes on the grill.

Step 2: Cleaning & Seasoning the Grill

Now that the grill is hot is the best time to clean it because the heat will soften any residue left over from the last grilling. If you don't have a cleaning utensil u can crumble some aluminum foil and scrape the grill with the tongs.Lets go ahead now and take some paper towel and pour 1 or 2 tablespoon of cooking oil and with the tongs lets go ahead and season the grill by scrubbing the grill with the wet paper towel.

Step 3: Grilling

Lets go ahead and start grilling place your meat on the grill leaving the non charcoal side empty.Leave the meat 2-3 minutes until you get the desired color and then repeat on the other side.If you are using fatty meats, and you have any flare ups place the meat on the non charcoal side, until the flare ups reside, you can close the vents also or also close the lid .Once you have color on both sides place the meats on the non charcoal side or if you have a grill with top or side grill place the meat on that side and close the grills lid causing the grill to work like an oven.If you have any vegetables , fruits or breads you can place them on the non charcoal side or the top meanwhile you are giving color to the meatsonce the meats are colored leave the meats for 10 to 15 minutes inside the grill on the non charcoal side with the lid closed to finish cooking , if still raw , repeat this step until finally cooked.Good Grilling , Good Luck
