Introduction: Cheddar Drop Biscuits
In this instructable, I will show you how to make Cheddar Drop Biscuits.
Step 1: Ingredients
For this recipe, you will need:
2 c all purpose baking mix
3/4 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3/4 c milk
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Step 2: Not Too Many Steps for This Before You Are Eating Them!
Shred the cheese. You are going to need 3/4 c of shredded cheese.
Step 3: Grab a Spoon and Large Bowl
Combine the cheese with the baking mix.
Step 4: Add Some More Stuff..
Make a well in the middle and then pour in the milk. Stir until the dry ingredients are moistened, no need to overmix.
Step 5: Grab a Tablespoon Full!
Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
Drop dough by heaping tablespoon full.
Step 6: Bake!
Bake in an oven that's been preheated to 450° for 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 7: Everything Is Better With Butter..
Melt the butter in a microwave, then combine it the oregano and garlic powder.
Step 8: Brush It On!
Brush the butter mixture over the warm biscuits.
Step 9: Enjoy!
