Introduction: Crazy Crawlerbot

About: I love soccer, LEGO, reading, and 3d printing

Hi my name is Isaac Ruddell and I created a Crawler robot. I designed this for a motor that I had at my house that I got for a birthday so sorry for the inconvenience.

Supplies

Step 1: Printing

Use the provided stl and print in whatever color(supports not needed) unless you use a different motor, then modify to fit that motor.

Step 2: Inspiration

I got my inspiration from a remote controlled crawler robot that was pretty awesome but simple so I decided to use my household motors to create this mini crawler.

Step 3: Assembly

  • Place the motor inside the larger compartment
  • Place battery holder on top of compartment and secure with rubber bands as shown
  • Fit the + and - metal springs into the holes in the end of the battery holder and glue the on and off switch anywhere on the battery holder
  • place battery into the battery holder with the longer spring on the negative part of the crawlerbot and the positive in the shorter
  • place arms on end of axle and use glue as needed
