Intro: Crossy Road Characters

Crossy Road is one of my favorite games on my phone. Here is a guide for all the current secret characters.

STEP 1: Hipster Whale

The find the hipster whale, he will be swimming like a log in the water.

STEP 2: Crab

To find the crab, just rapidly swipe side to side everywhere while moving. The crab can be unlocked after a little while, or even a few days .

STEP 3: Matt Hall

Matt Hall is one of the creators of the game. To find him, you need to play as the Lucky Cat and get a great score, which is 150 or 50 more than your high score.

STEP 4: Ben Weatherall

Ben Weatherall is also a creator of the game, to unlock him you play as the Dark Lord and get a good score.

STEP 5: Andy Sum

Andy Sum is the third creator of the game, to unlock him you play as the Mallard and get a good score.

STEP 6: Drop Bear

Unlocking the Drop Bear is very easy, just play as an Australian character and find a tree with the bear on it, and get in front of it and let it drop on you.

STEP 7: Gifty

To get gifty, you have to to have the festive chicken and find the tree with a lot of coins around it, and collect all the coins.

STEP 8: Phone Box

To get the phone box, you need to do the same as gifty, but with a Uk character.

STEP 9: Cai Shen

To get Cai Shen, you need the fortune chicken. Get 22 of the red fortune leaflets, they don't all have to be at once.

STEP 10: Leprechaun

To unlock the Leprechaun, play in UK and get a lot of the clovers and a high score.

STEP 11: Nessie

To unlock nessie, use a UK character and do the same as the hipster whale.

is it also a score over your high score of 50, 150 or higer?

Hi, I played crossy road years ago and just reinstalled. The layout of characters has changed, and I have one missing between Tourist and Mike Boom in the people section. His silhouette has a big square head, and he can't be got in the bubblegum machine thingy. Do you know who he is and how I get him? Thanks.

Not at all u just have to collect a clover with 4 leafs thats it when u have done that then when the run ends u will have it

No? U can use any chinese mascot and then u just have to collect 21 not 22 fortune leaflets over as many runs and u want too

Nonono u justhave to jump sideways 49 times in a single run thats it any character

Nope u have ti run until u find a coinfield and in the middle u will find a christmas tree get close to it and gifts will pop out when u end the run u got it

As to you roysud, and everybody else, this instructable was made a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. As I have school many days a week, I do not have the time to update this instructable right now. I would also like to see you make some instructable, I would be flattered to comment on yours.

For the leprechaun all you need to do is find a four leaf clover with a UK character, you don't need to have a high score.

I got a score of over 150 with the dark lord but I didn't get any guy... I am updated and I see these secret people blacked out in the list

wow, I knew about the whale and drop bear but I had no idea there were so many secret characters. FYI I would change to title to "Crossy Road Secret Characters".
