Introduction: Customize Your Own Thumbdrive!!!
Has your USB thumbdrive ever gotten mixed up with someone else's? Well, after this tuorial you will have a thumbdrive like none other!! This is probably one of the easiest HOW-TOs out there and it doesn't require any tools apart from the ones lying around your own house..so without further ado, LET'S GET STARTED!!!
Step 1: Items Required
As I said, this project won't require much. In fact, you will only need:
Super glue
A USB thumbdrive
A Swiss army knife( or a hand saw and a sharp blade)
The new USB cover of your choice

The new USB cover of your choice
Step 2: Removing the Treasure From the Chest
The first thing you are going to want to do is remove the casing of the USB thumbdrive. If you are able to just pry open the casing then go ahead but in my case, the covers were stuck together like the birds in RIO. So first you are going to want to use the saw blade on your army knife and saw a hole in the area that wouldn't destroy the chip inside( in my case it was the back of the thumbdrive). If your casing isnt transparent like mine, you are just going to have to saw it slowly and be careful not the cut the chip in half XD. And please remember to have a cutting mat or something thick underneath so you dont accidentally ruin your table. Your mum won't appreciate it!! And when you have made a hole big enough, you can use your hands or pliers to remove the treasure from the chest.
Step 3: Getting Ready the New Casing
For my new casing, I'm using a keychain which is a fake bun. You can use whatever you like but just keep in mind that the object you choose has to be a little longer than the insides of the thumbdrive. I was going to use an eraser so you can bring it to school without getting caught ( I'm just kidding..dont get any ideas kids ) but I didn't have an eraser that was long enough. So first you are going to have to cut the casing. I trust that you are smart enough to get all the measurements right :D. For this I used the sharp blade of my army knife.
Step 4: Digging the Bun
Next, you are going to want to create a space inside you new cover for the thumbdrive. Start with the chip( rear ) and not the USB ( front ). Use your sharp blade to try and cut out the shape of a rectangle or just try digging out piece by piece. The hole doesn't have to be a perfect rectangle but try and get it a little snug. And make sure it's deep enough to cover up all of the chip.
Step 5: Putting the Treasure in a New Chest
After making sure the chip can fit in the new casing, it's time for the super glue. You can glue the inside of the bun and stick the chip inside but i just glued along the side of the bun on the outside. Make sure not to get any glue on your mum's furniture or more importantly, you hand.
Step 6: Digging the Other Side of the Bun
You are going to want to repeat step 4 on the other side of the casing ( the front ). This time try to get the cut a little more perfect and make sure it's really snug because this is going to be the cover for the USB.
Step 7: Almost There Guys!
Put on the cover and there you go!! Your very own customized USB thumbdrive!!
Just one last thing, this is the most important part. Stick the thumbdrive in your pc and see if it works. If it doesn't, probably something went wrong or you thumbdrive just doesn't like you XD.

Step 8:
So that's how you customize your own USB thumbdrive. What did I tell you! Easy as ABC! Just remember you can do this with anything. Not just fake buns or erasers. Use your imagination and let me know what you made! Thanks guys and enjoy downloading games and movies on your new and improved thumbdrive. See ya!
