DIY Abstract Crayon Art

This DIY art craft is easy to make, and looks amazing on your wall! Using only a few easy steps, you can make an amazing art piece! It also uses materials that you can find at your house, making everything easier!

Supplies

Crayons (The amount depends on the size of the canvas)

Cheese Grater

Blank Canvas

Iron

Parchment Paper

Step 1: Shave Crayons

Using the cheese grater, shave the crayons and spread them out on the canvas to your liking.

Step 2: Iron

First, place parchment paper on top o the canvas, to protect the iron. Second, iron the crayon shavings onto the canvas. At first, iron slowly, and then, if you think some areas need more ironing, just iron a bit more above that area. It is thoroughly ironed when it looks like some of the crayons are sticking to the canvas. Some crayons will do that. If too many do it, then you can put the parchment paper on again, and iron it again.
