Step 2: Gluing
To create the skeleton of the coffee you will need to follow these steps. If you want a visual you can click on my Youtube video at the end of this post for reference.
- Cut out 2 2inch circles from card stock
- Place 1 of the card stock circles in the cup
- Glue 2nd circle on the edge top of the cup to close it off, I used a glue gun
- Pull the cotton ball apart a little bit to fluff it and glue on top of the top circle
- Cut down the candle so that it isn't too long
- Cut the Styrofoam ball in half
- stick the candle in the half of the foam ball
- glue the half foam ball with candle onto the cotton ball
Step 3: Sprinkles
If you are using real sprinkles you can coat them in spray glue or mod podge. Fully coat the sprinkles and let them dry completely, set aside for later to decorate.
You can also buy craft sprinkles!
Step 4: Decorate
- Use white puffy paint and paint brush to get a thin even coat and let dry for a little while
- Do a second coat of white puffy paint, fill in gaps, and make it look fluffy like whipped cream
- Add brown or gold puffy paint on the top to make it look like caramel or chocolate suace
- Add sprinkles on top while its still wet
