Introduction: DIY Electric Lego Duplo Train

Really quick and simple way to convert Lego Duplo train to electric one.

Same approach could be user for other toy modification too.

Small parts - not for kids under 3.

Step 1: Parts and Conversion

Parts:

  • electric motor
  • batteries with battery holder
  • switch
  • wires with connectors
  • rubber band
  • duplo train
  • duplo "door frame"

Modification:

Motor was connected to switch and batteries and all fitted in "door frame".Fit was so good, so no gluing was needed (hot glue can be used if needed)

Rubber band was imposed on motor/ wheel.

That's all. Train is ready for ride.
