Introduction: DIY Free Homemade FLAMETHROWER
I was messing around a couple of weeks ago and i accidentally stumbled on this... Though the idea is pretty simple you can get fireballs about 1m squared in size from just the basic small bottle version.

Step 1: Materials...
First of all: he things you will need...
For the simple version (pic1)
- a small 500 ml bottle
- a deo can
- a lighter
For the more advanced version, (pic2)
- a 1.5l bottle
-a deo can
-a lighter
- 3/4 inch pvc pipe
- 1 inch pvc pipe
- 3/4 inch pvc tee connector
- pvc solvent
- copper tube
- blu tack
if required:
-spare pieces of plastic from a plastic bottle

Step 2: Simple Flamethrower
The simple flamethrower is pretty easy. All you have to do is:
1) spray into the bottle until it gets cold.
2) light the lighter just in front of the mouth of the bottle (look at picture)
3) point it away from your or anyone else's body
4) squeez
Even with this simple technique, you should be able to get pretty huge fireballs..
Even after you sqeeze, a small fire should keep burning at the mouth of the bottle. Th important thing to remember is that you should shake the bottle to put this fire out.
Although this may not seem threatening, this is actually the most dangerous part of this instructable for two reasons.
1) if that fire stays burning for a while, it will melt a hole in the bottle and perhaps drip molten plastic all over you.
2) if you put the bottle away and the fire stays in there, it can set everything around it on fire.

Step 3: Advanced Flamethrower
In this step, I'm gonna show you how to build the advanced flamethrower.
1) solvent the 3/4 inch pvc (about 6 inches in length) into the bottom of the tee junction (the bit of the tee which is at a right angle to the other bits.)
2)attach the copper tube to the 1 inch pvc( the one inch pvc should be about 4 inches in length). How you do this is up to you... i used blu tack and some pieces of plastic to wedge it in place then i put pvc solvent into the junction.
3) now you should have a long copper tube connected to a 4inch long 1inchpvc pipe and a 3/4tee connected to a 6inch long 3/4 inch pvc
4) slide the 1" pvc into the mouth of the 1.5l bottle (in the picture I've used a 500ml bottle because i didn't have a spare 1.5l bottle at the time). IMPORTANT: Dont attach it though otherwise you will have no way to put the deo inside the bottle...
5) slide the tee connected to the 3/4inch pvc onto the copper tube until you can hold the bottle in one hand and the 3/4 inch pvc in the other. Wedge it into place again with different combinations of plastic pieces, blutack, and pvc solvent. (IN this case, the 6 inch long 3/4 inch piece is just a handle to hold the flamethrower with so that you don't burn your fingers on the copper pipe when it gets hot...)
6) you're done!

Step 4: Using the Advanced Flamethrower...
First of all, take the 1inch pvc off the bottle. Then spray deo inside to your heart's content. Next, put the 1 inch piece back on the bottle and, like the simple flamethrower, sqeeze.
The safety warnings in this one are exactly like the ones in the simple famethrower other than the fact that i would urge you to try this outside first. Mainly for the reason that, with the simple flamethrower, i managed to scorch my bookshelf; Imagine how much damage this could do...
So have fun burning everything within reach...
By the way, this is my first instructable so dont be too harsh on me.
