Introduction: DIY Witcher’s Wolf Medallion

If you have ever played video games, I am almost certain you have heard about the game Witcher, with the main character Geralt of Rivia. He is a brave warrior with magical powers that protects humanity from evil forces. This character was created by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. Geralt’s origin belongs to the Wolf School Witchers. That’s why he has this cool looking medallion. If you don’t belong to the Order of Witchers, you can just order this artifact using 3D print services near you on Treatstock.

What will you need:

1. A PC or laptop that has access to the internet
2. Paint and some time

Step 1: 3D Print the Medallion

Go to the site www.treatstock.com and create an account if you don’t already have one. Find the model of Wolf Medallion , choose the material, color, and delivery method you would like.

Step 2: Sanding the Model

When you receive your 3D print, check if it has any imperfections. If necessary, post-process the medallion using a nail file or fine sandpaper.

Step 3: Painting

Use acrylic or some special spray paints for metal. We used metallic rust-oleum (based on modified alkyd resin). Paint it carefully. It is not easy to remove, trust me.

Step 4: Using Magic

Chances are that you won’t be able to use magical signs as Aard, Igni, and others (because you are not a real Witcher). But it can boost your charisma whenever you wear it (at least +10)). Enjoy!
