Introduction: DIY Desktop Lamp (The Lighthouse)
Hey there.
This is my attempt to create a lamp in a simplest way, using as few elements as possible, and in the same way a lamp that you can notice and pay attention once you see it.
The construction is made of wood, which I painted in red and white.
Take a look at what you need and how to make it.
This way, please.

Step 1: Materials + Tools.
All you need is this:
A piece of wood 4 by 4 cm., around 30 cm in length.
Another piece of wood 12 by 12 cm., for the base.
Switch, cable, LED light bulb, bulb socket, plug.
Paint of your choice.

Install the bulb socket and then connect the switch.

Step 4: Turn It On.
There you have it.
Ideally It could have turned a little better. There are few things that can improve the overall look of the lamp. First, better paint, a bit glossy maybe; more sanding.
All in all, not so bad.
