Introduction: Deep-fried Outdoor Fish
Hello my friends! I would like to introduce you the most easiest recipe! Really...nothing special but super tasty. Lets cook it!
P.S. If you like traveling, hiking, fishing and outdoor cooking this recipe is for you.
Supplies
What do we need?
Ingredients:
- The main ingredient is a freshly caught fish. The most testiest fish is that one you caught on your own! So we did it. We have river fish: pike and perch.
- 1 bottle of sunflower oil (1 liter but we used only half of bottle)
- Salt and your favorite seasonings (black pepper, dill seeds, bay leaf)
- Lemon (really optional)
Utensils:
- Sauté pan (for deep frying we heed something with high vertical sides) or just a pot.
- We cooked our fish with portable gas burner (whatever you can use to cook: bonfire, gas stove)
Step 1: Clean the Fish
We have fresh fish and we need to clean it and remove scales.
Step 2: Portioning
Next we need to portioning the fish. So cut it into pieces.
Step 3: Seasoning
Sprinkle the fish with salt and you favorite spices. And as you see on this picture this is exact sauté pan that we used for frying.
Step 4: Deep Fry
Now it’s time to fry!
Put a sunflower oil in the sauté pan (that much to cover the fish pieces entirely). Heat it till the oil will boil. Than deep the fish into the boiling oil (be careful and use fork or chopsticks to deep fish). Fry fish to the golden crust will appear (it comes very fast). Sprinkle with the lemon juice. Rest the process if you have more fish (oil doesn’t need to be changed).
Thank you for your attention 😇
