Design Your Own Shoes

Shoes are one of the fashion item that really important for us, especially for teenagers. There are a lots of design, style and various price for various shoes. Save some of your money and start to design your own shoes right now.

These are the things that you need to prepare:
1. Print your favorite design from internet or other sources, or you can create it by yourself
2. A pair of white shoes from canvas material (such as Converse's shoes) 
3. A set of acrylic paint
4. A palette  
5. Pencil
6. Paint brush with various size
7. A cup of water
8. Some tissues

Now you are ready to start :) 

Step 1: Choose Your Favorite Design From Any Sources

First, search images from internet or you can create it by your own. Choose the best one. The most important thing is make sure that you are able to draw the design exactly the same. So choose the design according to your ability. This picture is an example of design that a student got from internet.

Step 2: Practice First on a Paper

Practice makes perfect. Before you draw it on your shoes, practice first on a piece of paper. Keep practicing until you are sure that you can draw it perfectly on your shoes.

Step 3: Start to Draw Your Design

Next, start to draw it on your shoes. Use your pencil to draw it, so you still can erase it if you make mistake. It will be better if you try not to make mistake on your drawing, because when you erase it, it will leave some smudges on your shoes. Finish your drawing on both shoes.

Step 4: Paint It

Then it's the time to color it using acrylic paint. Make sure that you have prepared the correct size of paint brush, so it will be easier for you to paint your design. Use the palette so you can mix some colors that you want. Clean the paint brush using the water from the cup when you want to use the same paint brush, but with different color. Do not use the paint to much on the shoe or it will take more time to dry. Just paint it slightly.

Step 5: Now You Have a New Pair of Shoes

Let it dry in a cool place or in a room with air conditioner. After 45 or 60 minutes, make sure that all the paints are dry perfectly. Now you are ready to use a new pair of shoes. Enjoy! :)
