What to do with an old gramophone box and your smartphone? just jamm them together!

Step 1: The Amazing Technology of an Old Gramophone

The only parte I had from rhe gramophone was the trumpet. I cleaned it up, and put it back in the box

Step 2: Adding the Sound System

I bent the ending of the trumpet to fit a small loudspeaker from a small external smartphone speaker (those that you get for free in conventions or computer fairs). I gutted out the electronics of the speaker and glued the whole thing with hot glue

Step 3: Covering Up the Mess

I took a piece of plywood and covered with leatherette. I left some heavy stuff over it for an hour and poked a couple of holes for the USB plug and the headphones jack

Step 4: Voila!

Does it sound good? mmmm... it depends. Nat King Cole sounds great. Draft Punk, not really.
