Introduction: Doodly Wire Necklace
This is the wire necklace I made using just wire and pliers. You can also make bracelets and just use less pieces It takes about a half hour to 45 minutes to make and it's really easy. This is my first instructable so I'm still learning how to make it good so I'm sorry if some parts are confusing. Please vote and like. Enjoy!
Step 1: Tools and Materials
All you need are some needle-nose pliers and a spool of aluminum wire. It will cost about 5 to 10 dollars but you can make a lot of necklaces or bracelets out of a single spool of wire.
Step 2: Different Wire Pieces
You can just use a lot of the same pieces so make about 4 or 5 of each of these. They are pretty simple but I'll give a quick explanation on how to make them.
Step 3: Making the Necklace
To make the piece with three spirals you just make a small loop at each end then make a little spiral coming off of it. Then you pinch the wire in the middle with the pliers and twist both sides. For the triangles you just start the same but instead of making small spirals at each end, you make one big, triangular spiral at one end. So your necklace will be flat, you have to twist some of the end loops so keep that in mind when assembling your necklace.
Step 4: Putting It All Together
To connect everything, just open the ends of the necklaces and attach one link to another and remember to connect the loops to the squiggles or loops to loops, because to squiggles won't go together.
