Introduction: Drum Kit Rewrap
This is a great way to change the look of your drum kit that's been beaten up over the years for under $30
Step 1: Things You'll Need:
This is a very tedious task, but looks great in the end and all I used with shelving contact paper from the Dollar General.
Step 2: Remove the Hardware
Make sure to wait down the entire surface.
Step 3: Apply the Contact Paper
I found it pretty easy to squeegee out the bubbles with my driver's license. It's hard to get it perfect but oh well.
Step 4: Add a Design.
This, of course, is optional. I chose a different pattern and cut a wavy patter to overlay with a razor blade. I also cut out the logo with a razor blade.
Step 5: Reapply the Hardware
I punched out all the holes with a screwdriver and I also polished all the chrome with steel wool.
Step 6: And That's It!!!
It took a few hours but looks like it's worth it in the end!
