Step 3: Step 2
Pull out about three feet of duct tape, don’t cut yet, and start rolling the tape around card.
When you get close to the roll, pull out another three feet and wrap.
When you have six feet of tape on the card cut if off and finish wrap.
I used the really heavy duty kind here and it got pretty thick at six feet.

Step 4: Step 3
Stick one end of the paracord through one of the holes in the card and tie a knot.
Put the other end of the cord through the hole on the other end and start wrapping. This helps keep the cord in place.
Wrap till you get close to the other set of holes and then place end of cord through those as well.
You can go back through the holes in the card as needed to keep the cord snug.
When you get to the end of the cord just pull it snug and tie another knot.

Step 5: Step 4
Just toss this in your bag or glove box and you have several feet of duct tape and paracord in a handy neat package.
I made one of these for my wife out of six feet of regular grey duct tape and it was a lot thinner. Depending on how much space you have you can use more or less of either kind of tape and make to the thickness you want.
