About: My name is Bálint Sidó and I am a Hungarian guy who lives in England. If you're wondering why I'm Centure, I tried Century but it was taken. Say hi if you found me :)
                                                                                                Easiest Muffin Recipe
This is part of my "Last-Minute Dessert" series.
- Qualities-
- Overall, takes (for me, at least) around half an hour to make.
- Not many ingredients required.
- Easy recipe to remember.
- Ingredients are in proportion to each other.
- Great taste :)

Step 1: The Ingredients

                                                                                                          Ingredients:

- 150g sugar
- 150g self-raising flour
- 150g butter (spreadable is fine)
- 3 eggs (which weigh, conveniently, 150g)

*Optional*
- Cocoa Powder - Take away the weight of the cocoa from the flour (eg. if you wanted to put in 25g of cocoa, you'd put in 125g of flour)
- 150g Chopped fruit / Chocolate chips

                                                                                                           Utensils:
- A mixing bowl
- A whisk
- A wooden spoon
- A tablespoon
- A serving plate/tray
- A kitchen Scale
- A Muffin Tray
- (Silicone) baking cases

Step 2: Preheat the Oven

                                                                                                             Preheating the Oven
Preheat the oven to:
180° Celsius
350° Fahrenheit
Gas Mark 4
or 453.15° Kelvin if you're cool like that.

Step 3: Sugar and Butter

                                                                                                 Sugar and Butter
Add the 150g of sugar and butter in a mixing bowl and mix with a wooden spoon.
It is best to stir until it is at a thick consistency.

Step 4: Eggs and Flour

                                                                                                       Eggs and Flour
Crack the eggs into the mixture you made in the previous step.
Now add the flour to this and use a whisk to stir.
It is best to do this until it reaches a thick consistency.

Step 5: Optional Ingredients Step

                                                                                                              The Optional Step
This is an optional slide, only for if you put in the optional ingredients.
Add your ingredient and mix it in with the rest of the mixture.
*IMPORTANT*
I halved the batch into a "fruit 'n' nut" and a "cocoa and chocolate chip" so if you're making one with one of these they'd look like this.

Step 6: Putting the Muffins Into the Oven

Putting the Muffins into the Oven
Put the little cases into the muffin tray.
Using a tablespoon, scoop a little mixture into one of the cases.
Repeat this step until you fill all the cases.
(If there is a little left over, but not enough that it's worth getting another tray out, put it into a case with not as much mixture.)
(Or you could eat it.)
(Or you could wash it away.)

Actually Putting them into the Oven now:
Use oven mitts to put the trays into the oven.
You should leave them for about 20 minutes.
If, after 20 minutes, they have risen but when you push down on the top it doesn't bounce back up, leave it for a couple of minutes.

Step 7: You Have Finished

                                                                                               You have finished!
Take the muffins out of the oven (careful, they're hot)
Wait for them to cool and serve them!

Congratulations! You have made some muffins.
Please comment if you actually did make them or are considering making them.
Rate fairly and enjoy your muffins.
