Step 1: PANCAKE BATTER
156g / 1 & 1/4 Cups Plain Flour
2tbsp Caster Sugar
1 & 1/4tsp Baking Powder
1/4tsp Baking Soda
1/4tsp Salt
3tbspUnsalted Butter (Melted)
1 Large Egg
315g / 1 &1/3 Cups Buttermilk
1tsp Vanilla Extract
Begin by whisking the egg until light and foamy. Next, add in the butter, buttermilk and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl mix together all the dry ingredients. Create a well and pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and gently fold together. Fry the pancakes in a pan or griddle on a medium heat. When bubbles appear on the top of the pancakes they are ready to turn "flip" over. Finish by adding some maple syrup and your choice of fruit.
