Introduction: Fluid Painting With String Pulling #1

About: Artist still learning and exploring.

Fluid is one of the simplest painting techniques that anyone can learn. In this tutorial i will show you how it is done, combined with the pull string technique.

==Materials==

1. Acrylic Paints (red, yellow, blue, black, white)

2. Canvas

3. Paint brush

4. Cotton yarn

Step 1: Prepare Canvas

Using your paint brush, paint the canvas black. See the video provided for actual demonstration.

Step 2: Cover Strings in Paint

Cut several pieces of yarn longer than the canvas, and submerge them into individual paint colors. Place the strings on canvas with one end hanging off the edge of the canvas. See the video provided for actual demonstration.

Step 3: Pull Strings

Pull the string down (do not pull off the canvas) the side of the canvas in one continuous direction. A flower like pattern is created See the video provided for actual demonstration.

Step 4: Pour Paint

Pour white and yellow paint over the canvas around the pull string patterns. Tilt the canvas to create a runny pattern. See the video provided for actual demonstration.

Step 5: Pull Strings Over Pour

Place a clean string over the poured paint and pull to create additional pull string designs. See the video provided for actual demonstration.

Step 6: Add More Pull String Designs

Submerge a string into one of the colored paint and create additional pull string design to complete the painting. See the video provided for actual demonstration.
