Introduction: Folding LUCKY HEARTS <3

About: 14 years old, nz. Doubting my normality
USE THESE FOR ANYTHING, PUT THEM IN JAR TO SHOW YOUR LOVE, OR EVEN USE THEM AS A WISH/FORTUNE BY WRITING ON THE PAPER BEFORE YOU FOLD THEM

Step 1: Paper

i'm using paper out of my exercise book (which is white). i'm cutting my paper out of one sheet. You have the option to used colour paper and/or magazine paper to make your hearts

Step 2: Cutting It Out

i'm using a strip, around 1cm by 20cm.
i cut it out of my paper and am just about ready to fold! :D

Step 3: Folding Process :)

make a triangle with your paper so that the edge lines up with the bottom of the piece. so it makes a triangle. fold it so it repeats this step until you only have a little bit left.

Step 4: The Tuck

use your scissors to cut the little flap left a bit smaller so that it will fit in the slit created by the previous fold.

Step 5: Forming the Heart

press with your finger nail into the longest edge of the triangle, so you are pushing towards the corner directly below.
this makes a shape that somewhat resembles a heart.

Step 6: The Squeeze.

grab the two ends that stick up and and push them in the middle of your forefingers and thumbs so the bottom of the heart puffs out :p

Step 7: Seeing the Heart Come to Life

use your scissors to cut a semi circle above the puffed out area, repeat either side.

Step 8: Ta Da! :D
